Scriptures: Ruth 1:1-5, 7-8, 14-19 NRSV Preaching: Pastoral Intern Rebekah Nelson - On location! Sermon: “Discover Yourself on the Journey" Sermon Synopsis: As Ruth makes the commitment to go with Naomi into an uncertain future she places her trust in God to walk with her and guide her as the two women move to a new place and community. The story of Ruth will show that God will be present, working through others to provide and care. But like Abraham who leaves the comfort and security of family to follow the voice of God to an uncertain future of promise, so Ruth engages the journey of life with a sense of faithfulness and trust that is willing to live also with the uncertainty of the journey. Discovering God’s care and provision is tested by the journey of life itself.

Have you registered your children? We are taking many safety precautions for the health of our children, but it all starts when you Register your children today. To begin our year together, we held a super-important parents meeting online to go through our health and safety protocols, and talk about the shifts in our usual patterns we will make to help people stay in safe, masked, small-group settings.
