Preaching: Pastor Craig Brown Sermon: 8 Questions for Life: "Where is God in suffering? Connecting Peace with God and Myself"
Through the Christ's death, we have peace with God. Just as God was with Jesus in the face of suffering, so God is with those who find their life in Christ. Peace is not so much a calm, as a capacity to hold on to God and know a strength of endurance, because God's hope is poured into our hearts through God's Spirit. The power of the Gospel opens up a pathway to finding peace in the midst of life's challenge.
