October 15-16, 2016

10/14/2016

In Worship this Weekend

Preaching: Pastor Craig Brown
Sermon: "Who Needs Good Works?" What role do good works play in the Christian life? If we are saved by grace, sins forgiven, why bother with good works at all? Who needs my good works? Does God? No. Is it about my own sense of self-worth? No. My neighbor needs my good works, because God uses acts of love and service as a way of taking care of the world God made.
Scriptures: Micah 6:6-8;Galatians 5:13-14; Luke 19:1-10
