This Weekend in Worship
Preaching: Pastor Steve Knudson
Sermon: "A Prayer for All the Saints"
Today on All Saints' Weekend we hear the plea of the psalmist that, "my steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled. I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer." Because of the sacrifice of Jesus for us the sins of the world are covered. We are able to stand tall before God our righteous judge because in the person of Jesus “salvation has come to this house”—to our house today. In Christ Jesus God seeks us out to save us.
Scripture: Psalm 17:1-9; Psalm 32:1-7 NIV
All Saints' Sunday – This weekend at each service we will name and remember in prayer each of the Saints who have been laid to rest through the ministry of our congregation in the past year.

"The Historical King David" – Mike Bryant
“Their name has become synonymous with barbarism, but in reality the Philistines were technologically superior to the Israelite's and even the Egyptians; while most of the world still forged weapons and armor out of bronze, they had mastered the art of working with iron. These new invaders posed an existential threat that would force the twelve tribes to join forces or perish. In this 3-week class we look at David’s era through the historian’s lens.”
