This Weekend in Worship
Preaching: Pastor Craig Brown
Sermon: " To Serve all People, Following the Example of Jesus" Baptism is the entry point into discipleship, where we take our cues from Jesus. Jesus provides an example for how to be with others. Jesus practiced a servant leadership in everything he did. Life wasn’t so much about what he gained, as what he gave, not about how he was first or best, but how he came for the least and the lost. When we follow Jesus, we follow him into a life of serving and care for others. Scriptures: Psalm 23; John 9 NRSV For details on our worship series & services: 10:15 a.m. Sunday Morning Learning
During Lent we are meeting in small groups to study how we live out the promises of baptism as a congregation in the Heart of the City.
