Communion Activity Day
Saturday, March 2, 9-10:30 a.m. in the lower-level Luther Fellowship Center. We’ll play games and do fun activities to sum up all our learning about Communion.
Pastor Steve will also have a chance to talk with your grown-ups about Communion (to refresh their memories!), and make sure they feel equipped to answer any questions you may ask them. Please don’t miss this event!
This Weekend in Worship
Preaching: Pastor Steve Knudson
Sermon: “Transfiguration—Gathered to See God”
We gather to see God. Just as the disciples were witnesses to the glory of God in the face of Jesus, so Paul says we not only behold the glory of God’s grace and truth in Jesus, we are also transformed into the same image by the Spirit of God. What is at stake in our gathering is to meet God in Jesus Christ. In following Jesus, we are changed to become what we seek—the goodness and promise of God in the world.
Scripture: Exodus 34:29-35; Luke 9:28-36 NRSV
Music: 9a: Adult Choir; 11:15 a: High School Bells

During Lent our Adult Learning sessions will focus on what is in the Bible, what is important, what is real vs. parable, and how to read the tough parts.
