Sermon: Summer with the Saints: Clare and Francis of Assisi – Choosing a Simple Life
Synopsis: In the gospel of Matthew Jesus implores his listeners not to worry about what they will eat and drink, offering the birds of the air and the lilies of the field as examples of God’s ultimate care for us. Francis and Clare both lived this credo out in their lives providing a template of a simple life for us where we are freed to slow down and just be with God and God’s incredible creation.
