About the series: The Gospel readings from John 6 focus on Jesus as bread of life. Jesus physically feeds thousands of people with five loaves and two fish; and he describes himself as "the bread come from heaven to give life to the world" It is not the adequacy of our supplies or our skills that make the difference in the world: it is the power of Jesus working through the littlest and least to transform our earth into the world God desires, a caring community where all the hungry are satisfied.
