Concurrently, the FLC Organ Task Force, represented by Brett Wolgast and Marj Grimm has developed a separate RFP for an organ consultant to come in and evaluate our current organ and all its supporting elements as well as helping the congregation understand various options to move forward. The organ was identified as one of the initial areas to be assessed and part of the larger Building Committee’s charter. Brett and Marj will meet with Council on 23 September to review their final RFP, share their insights and seek Council approval for release.
We continue to receive suggestions for building improvements in the main areas of Nave, Narthex, welcoming and outside community appeal as well as the obvious issues of our roof and carpeting. Please keep your voice engaged by talking with any of the Committee members.
