We are heading to Milwaukee for a Middle School Mission Trip!

Here are the details:
When: July 11-16, 2021
Where: Milwaukee, WI
What: Middle School Mission Trip
Who: Grades 6-8 (Completed) Friends are welcome.
Cost: $500 (Approximate)
(Scholarships available)

2. Turn in $150 non-refundable deposit in envelope with your name on it!
3. Wait to receive more information from Michael!

Tentative Schedule

Sunday, July 11- Meet at First Lutheran and travel to Milwaukee
Monday, July 12- Thursday, July 15- Service in the Community
Friday, July 16- Leave Milwaukee return to Cedar Rapids Friday night.(Please note this is subject to change.)

Serving in Milwaukee

You’ll have the opportunity to serve alongside some great organizations that are working to support the Milwaukee community. These organizations include food pantries, soup kitchens, local gardens, and intergenerational care centers. Many of these organizations are interconnected in the process of reducing food insecurity throughout the community.

​In the evenings you’ll participate in a local worship service, prepare and serve a community meal, go to the beach of Lake Michigan, and hear from a community friend who works with teenagers and adults that grew up in the inner city. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 1999.
