Men of all ages of the church gather for movies, guy trips, cook-outs, service projects, and study our faith and what it means to be a Christian man. Read up below to see what's coming up next. If you are interested in getting involved contact Pastor Craig at email@example.com

Texas Mission Trip Mar. 17-24
While not a Guy Squad event, we know this church sanctioned mission trip will appeal to many guys. Check out the details here.
Men from our church served a white glove women's brunch before Mother's Day weekend to more than 100 women in our church twice over the last three years. We're planning a similar event in 2018 with a tremendous speaker who has mentored hundreds of young women in Eastern Iowa. Stay tuned!
Sledding Outing Jan. 20
The Guy Squad is hosting a good old fashioned Father-Son/Daughter sledding outing at 10 a.m. Jan. 20, 2018 at the Parkview Pavilion Parking Lot at Jones Park. Enter Jones Park on 29th Ave SW off of Bowling Street. We’ll bring the cocoa and dads bring the kids and sleds. There is no cost and no sign up required. Just show up! If you have any questions, contact Pr. Craig at (319) 310-6888.
Star Wars Celebration
We gathered in December 2015 to dissect scripture and movie clips detailing the fall of Anakin Skywalker and his redemption through his son, Luke, much like the fall of humanity and our redemption through the work on the cross through God’s son, Christ.
Men's Hockey Night
We had a fun night cheering on the Rough Riders to victory back in January. We filled a luxury box with 20 guys from church and friends, shared a few adult beverages, and built some friendships.

Target Field Trip to Twin Cities
Wrigley Field Trip to Chicago
Our men's ministry team, known as the "Guy Squad," meets every-other month to plan movie nights, fun trips, book studies, and service projects. We intentionally try to engage men in their 20's, 30's, and 40's who traditionally haven't had a strong interest in church and meet them on their level.
