First Lutheran 2016 Flood Response
Our Housing Team will be moving families back into their homes and moving sandbags to the curb for city pickup this Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. If you would like to help, please email Pastor Craig Brown at email@example.com. Thank you!
If you are a member or friend of First Lutheran and need some help moving back in, also please contact Pr. Craig at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What about Worship this Weekend?
All worship services will go on as scheduled this weekend including our 5 p.m. Saturday and 8, 9, and 11:15 a.m. Sunday. All worshipers, especially those coming from the west side, should allow an extra time to get here due to roads and brides potentially being shut down.
Will the Church Office Be Open This Week?
Yes, our church office will hold normal business hours which are
8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday.
For individual activities, the staff member in charge of those events will communicate updates. Additionally, our pastors continue to be available for counseling or other needs you may have.
Our Neighbors at Immaculate Conception
With the closing of two Catholic churches due to flood waters, those congregations are being directed to attend Immaculate Conception - and that will make for a busy neighborhood!
Consider parking a little farther away to allow extra space for our Catholic neighbors. As their worshipers will more likely use the DiVita Dialysis lot and the PCI lot at 3rd Ave and 10th St, please consider other options to the North and West:
