First Lutheran’s Discipleship Covenant involves 5 "C's."  The people of FLC commit to:

CENTER my life in Jesus Christ in a lifestyle of worship. As I recognize the grace of God in my life, in gratitude I open myself to the experience of God’s presence in worship.

CONNECT with the wider family of faith through a small group that is committed to spiritual growth. It is through these people who know me best that I can honestly grow and be of service.

CULTIVATE my life with spiritual practices that God uses to grow my faith toward maturity. I support others as they also grow into the fullness of Christ.

CONTRIBUTE to the ever-emerging Kingdom of God. I recognize everything I am and have as a gift of God, and in response I am generous with my time, talents, money and resources.

COMMUNICATE the good news of God’s love. In my own God-given way, in words and actions, I seek to embody the presence of Christ.
